Shanghai Dumpling King (San Francisco)

A small "no frills" dumping house in San Francisco's Outer Richmond, Shanghai Dumpling King provided a delightful dinner of dumplings as well as some other exciting and flavorful dishes.

Zaki Kabob House took us to the Mediterranean this week.

Debut of Exotic Wednesday

Our first Exotic Wednesday features Salvadorian cuisine from Platano in Berkeley.

Our Order:


Pescado Frito: Whole Tilapia fish, marinated in lime & garlic then fried to a crisp

Carne Desilada: Pan seared shredded beef, eggs, tomato, onion & bell peppers

Platanos: Plantains, refried beans & cream

Revuelta con Frijoles Pupusa: Pork, Black Beans & Cheese (topped with pickled cabbage & salsa)
